Description

This easy Pepper Steak crockpot recipe is a delicious and comforting dinner. Enjoy the tender steak with a thick brown gravy.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs of sliced flank steak
  • 1 small white onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups of beef broth or water
  • 2 envelopes of brown gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • OPTIONAL: Mushrooms
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bow, whisk together the beef broth (or water), brown gravy mix, and flour.
  2. Place the flank steak in the bottom of the crockpot, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place sliced onions and green bell pepper (and mushroom, if using) on top of flank steak and pour the gravy mixture over.
  4. Cook on High for 3 hours or low for 6 hours, until steak if cooked through.
  5. Served Pepper Steak over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
  6. ENJOY!
