A festive and easy-to-make treat, this peppermint bark combines rich chocolate layers with crunchy peppermint pieces for the perfect holiday indulgence. Great for gifting, sharing, or enjoying with a cup of hot cocoa!

- 8oz dark chocolate chips
- 8oz white chocolate chips
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- Crushed Candy Canes
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt Dark Chocolate: Spray a microwave-safe bowl with non-stick cooking spray. Add the dark chocolate chips and microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted. Be careful not to overheat.
- Add Peppermint Extract: Stir in 1/2 tsp of peppermint extract, then pour the melted dark chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread it evenly with a spatula and refrigerate for 10 minutes to harden.
- Melt White Chocolate: Repeat the process with the white chocolate chips, using a clean bowl sprayed with non-stick spray. Melt in 15-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Add Peppermint Extract: Stir in the remaining 1/2 tsp of peppermint extract, then pour the white chocolate over the hardened dark chocolate layer. Spread evenly.
- Decorate: Sprinkle crushed candy canes over the top as desired.
- Harden & Break: Place the baking sheet back in the refrigerator to harden completely. Once set, break the bark into pieces of your desired size.
