- 2 overripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1.5 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix wet ingredients (and sugar) in a large bowl: bananas, pumpkin purée, eggs, brown sugar, oil, and vanilla.
- In a second bowl, mix dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
- Gently mix in chocolate chips.
- Pour into a 9×5 bread pan with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle with chocolate chips, if desired.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes (or until you can poke with a toothpick and pull it out clean).
- Let rest for 15 minutes, or until cool, and enjoy!
