Our 2026 P52: A Cozy Way to Document Life
A beginner-friendly P52 photography project for 2026 focused on cozy, real-life storytelling. One photo a week to document everyday moments.

If you’ve ever thought about starting a photography project but felt intimidated, behind, or unsure where to begin, this one is for you.
A P52 project is one of the simplest ways to start documenting your life, just one photo a week for a year.
I’ve created a facebook group for 2026 where I’m hosting a P52 photography project focused on real life as it unfolds.
One photo a week. No perfection. No rigid rules.
Just a cozy way to slow down, notice everyday beauty, and tell the story of this season exactly as it is.
This group is for anyone who wants to join and move through the year together, slowing down, noticing the ordinary, and documenting real, imperfect life with intention.
What is a P52?
P52 stands for Project 52, one photo a week for an entire year.
But to me this isn’t about taking the best photo.
It’s about telling a story.
Each week, you’ll be given a thoughtful prompt designed to help you document:
- motherhood as it really looks
- childhood as it truly feels
- the lived-in moments of home
- the in-between seasons that pass too quickly
Some weeks your photo might be beautifully styled.
Other weeks it might be grainy, imperfect, or taken in a rush.
All of it counts.
Why I Created This Project
Photography has never been about technical perfection for me.
It’s always been about capturing a feeling.
The warmth of a room.
The noise of a full house.
The way a season of life feels before it quietly slips into memory.
As a mom, I’ve learned how fast everything changes.
How one year you’re rocking a baby, and the next you’re watching them run ahead of you.
I didn’t want another year to pass without intentionally documenting this chapter, so I built a project that makes it doable, even in the middle of real life.
What Make P52 for the Everyday Storyteller Different
This project isn’t about:
- learning photography rules
- staged photos
- expensive gear
- perfectly curated feeds
It is about:
- weekly prompts that spark connection
- storytelling over aesthetics
- progress over perfection
- documenting life as it is
The prompts are intentionally open-ended.
They’re designed to meet you where you are, whether you’re in a quiet season or a loud, chaotic one.
You can use:
- your phone
- your camera
- color or black & white
- close-ups or wide shots
There is no “right” way to do this.
What You’ll Receive
When you join P52 for the Everyday Storyteller (2026), you’ll have:
- Weekly photography prompts delivered consistently
- A creative structure without pressure
- Encouragement to focus on meaning, not perfection
- A shared space with others who value documenting everyday life
This project is meant to feel supportive, not overwhelming.
Who This Project Is For
P52 for the Everyday Storyteller is for you if:
- you want to remember the season you’re in
- you feel nostalgic even while living the moment
- you love storytelling but struggle to stay consistent
- you want your photos to mean something years from now
You don’t need to be a photographer.
You just need to care about remembering.
An Invitation to Slow Down
One day, these moments will live only in memory.
P52 is a way to gently preserve them, one week at a time.
Not to prove anything. Not to perform.
Just to remember.
If you’ve been looking for a more intentional way to document your life, I would love for you to join me.
