Fun Easter Breakfast Idea for Kids: Peeps Bunny Waffles
Make Easter morning special with these fun Peeps Bunny Waffles! This easy Easter breakfast idea for kids uses the Dash waffle maker, melting white chocolate, and festive sprinkles for a cute and delicious holiday treat.

Easter morning in our house is always a mix of excitement, scattered plastic eggs, and kids waking up way too early, ready to dive into their baskets.
And if there’s one thing I’ve learned as a mom of four (soon-to-be 5), it’s that a fun holiday breakfast can add a whole other layer of fun and excitement to the day.
This year, I wanted something festive, easy, and guaranteed to make my kids smile, I’m planning to use my Dash Peeps Bunny Waffle Maker and whip up some fun and easy Easter waffles.
These little bunny-shaped waffles are not only adorable, but they also take minimal effort (which is a win when you’ve got a house full of eager little ones).
If you want to make them even more fun you can deocrate them or let the kids decorate them.
One of my favorite ways to decorate waffles with (or for) the kids is with white chocolate and fun, colorful sprinkles.
Holidays are made for a little extra magic, right?
Whether you’re looking for a simple Easter breakfast or just want to surprise your kids with something special, these Peeps Bunny Waffles are an easy way to bring joy to the table.
Let’s get into how to make them!
Why Kids Will Love This Easter Breakfast

There’s something about shaped food that makes breakfast way more exciting for kids. These Peeps Bunny Waffles are cute, festive, and perfect for kicking off Easter morning with a little extra fun. My kids love them because:
- They’re bunny-shaped! (Anything shaped like their favorite holiday characters is instantly a hit.)
- They get to decorate them, white chocolate drizzle, sprinkles, maybe even a little whipped cream!
- They taste amazing, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and just the right amount of sweetness. (I’ll share my secret recipe below for extra fluffy waffles!)
And honestly? I love them, too, because they’re so simple to make without a ton of effort. The waffle maker does all the work, and with just a few easy toppings, they look way fancier than they actually are.
You can find the Peeps Waffle Maker here.
It’s a lot of fun for the kids, minimal stress (and effort) for me. I don’t know about you but that’s my kind of holiday breakfast!

5 Fun Ways to Serve and Decorate
Now, let’s talk about the fun part, decorating these adorable little waffles! Because while they’re already cute on their own, a little extra magic (and sugar) never hurt anyone, right?
1. Classic & Cozy
Keep it simple with butter and warm maple syrup because sometimes, less is more. But if you’re feeling extra, a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top makes them look like they’ve been dusted in a little Easter morning magic.
2. Peeps Dessert Waffles
Okay, hear me out, ice cream waffle sandwiches. Take two Peeps-shaped waffles, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream in between, and roll the edges in festive Easter sprinkles.
3. Easter Brunch Vibes
Pair them with fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, and a side of bacon for a colorful and fun Easter breakfast board. Add a little pastel-colored yogurt for dipping, and it’ll looks like you spent way more effort than you actually did.
4. Chocolate Drizzle & Funfetti Magic
Drizzle melted chocolate over your waffles and top them with pastel sprinkles. My kids love drizzling melted chocolate. I let them add melted white chocolate to the bunny part of the waffle & then sprinkles. They thought it was so fun!

5. Kid-Approved ‘Bunny Bar’
Set up a little DIY waffle-topping station with bowls of fun toppings, whipped cream, fruit, mini chocolate chips, sprinkles, and crushed cookies. Let the kids have fun decorating their own Peeps waffles while you sip your coffee in peace (for at least 30 seconds).
However you serve them, these Peeps waffles are guaranteed to bring smiles to the breakfast table.
Making Mornings (and Memories) a Little Sweeter
Because at the end of the day, the best holiday traditions are the ones that feel fun, simple, and a little magical.
Whether you’re whipping these up for a fun Easter breakfast or turning them into a full-on dessert moment, these Peeps waffles are guaranteed to bring some extra sweetness (and excitement) to your table.
